Mozilla
Firefox® is one of the most widely regarded and admired
web browsers available on the internet today. Over the
past several years, it has been critically acclaimed by
organizations such as Forbes.com, PC World, and CNet.
While
Mozilla Firefox® 4.0.1 was released on April 28, 2011, and Mozilla
Firefox® 5.0 web browser on June 21, 2011, they were
both promptly followed up by Mozilla Firefox® 6.0.2 on September 6,
2011, Mozilla Firefox® 7.0.1 on September 29, 2011, Mozilla Firefox®
9.0.1 on December 21, 2011, Mozilla Firefox® 11.0 on March 13, 2012,
and most recently Mozilla Firefox 12.0 on April 24, 2012 by the Mozilla
Corporation. This newest version of Firefox® fixes many
bugs, improves standard compliance, and implements new web
applications. Other new features include a redesigned
download manager, a new places system for storing
bookmarks and history, and separate themes for different
operating systems.
As of March 2010, Firefox® is said to have 350 million users worldwide.
